Avee145 microphone boom
The Avee noise cancelling microphone is a ‘flexible rod type’ and can easily be adjusted for a perfect fit.
The silicon enforced root of the microphone boom makes it extremely stable; yet easy to move when drinking and eating.
The microphone is designed with barbs to effectively prevent the microphone wind shield falling off.
The microphone should be placed as close to the mouth as possible, and the flat surface of the mic and the white spot on the mic root should be facing your mouth.
The Avee145 microphone boom can easily be detached from the Avee microphone housing and be exchanged.
The microphone boom is connected to the main circuit board inside the microphone housing with a micro USB connector.
Two boom lengths are available: 145mm and 165mm and the standard lengths which fits most customers is 145mm.Please note that when purchasing the Avee Aviation Microphone kit either the 145mm length avee145 or the 165mm length is included.

Description
CHOOSING THE CORRECT MICROPHONE LENGTH
It is very simple to find the correct microphone length by following these steps:
- Get a tape measure and a pencil .
- Stick the pencil (carefully) into your right ear. Do not let it fall on the inside.
- Measure the direct distance between the pencil at your ear and center of mouth.
- If the measured distance is less than 155mm:
Chose the 145mm microphone boom. - If the distance is more than 155mm
Choose the 165mm microphone boom.

GBAvee 145 microphone boom
Have had issues with the connection thru the micro USB port. The connection is very marginal. Also have had a couple of reports from stations that the radio is very soft. Otherwise good.

CAOutstanding product and customer service
I am using my Avee mic with a Sony WH-1000XM4 headset on an Airbus 320 aircraft. The sound quality from the mic is amazing as noted by the pilots I have been flying with. The sound quality of the radios in my Sony headset is incredible as is the ANR. The customer service from the gang at Avee is outstanding. I would definitely recommend the Avee / Sony combination for flying.

AEBoom mike connection issues
Unfortunately the same issue as with the previous boom Mike: it becomes dislodged too easily and every time I’m about to transmit, I have to check that the mike is in place. It just doesn’t connect well I’m afraid. Compliments to customer service though, who were quick to respond with issuing a new mike

I am very happy with the product. The noise cancelling microphone complements the noise cancelling headset very well thus on a long range flight reducing the noise fatigue considerably. I am also very happy with AVEE´s customer service. There was a small item that was addressed and rectified immediately.
