I reviewed all the add on mics available diligently...and decided on the Avee for a few reasons. I couldn't be happier, it's an amazing product and the company and support is wonderful. Works as well as the house aviation headset for a fraction of the price
Noise cancelation is excellent but microphone level is too low. I have adjust it full and it is still too low. We have Garmin GMA-340 audiopanel. I have not found a way to set microphone level so that it stays full level after disconnecting. The mic level is much lower at maximum compared to my david clark h10-13.4.
Hello Pekka, this issue is caused by the microphone element which is a bit on the low side when it comes to the output signal. We will send you the new mic boom which will fix this problem. Will create a replacement order for you in this. Absolutely warranty.
Actually, the shipment process was a little bit long, and I'd have appreciated some informations about it before any request from me. Not a big issue at all. But the support is really quick, thank you. The mic system works really well, it's light and comfortable.
I’m using the Avee with the Sony headphones. It has worked as advertised and I no longer have to drag around a second set of headphones for those occasional deadheads. The sound quality is excellent and the noise cancellation (though that’s a Sony thing not Avee) makes long days much less tiring. My only, very minor, complaints are that the connector for the mic to the body of the Avee (micro USB) pops out too easily so I’ve had to re-assemble it a few times in the flight deck. Perhaps some more judiciously places magnets. As well, the right angle connector for the cable into the Avee tends to catch on my shoulder/epaulettes when I turn my head. A straight connection might be better.
