Our cables & adapters
The physical interface between the Avee microphone and the aircraft consists of two parts: the Avee400 Interface Cable and the Avee41X Aircraft Adapter.
The Avee400 Interface Cable is the cable between the headset and the Avee Aircaft Adapter (which is plugged into the aircraft ).
This cable is comfortable to wear: light (only 15 grams max), flexible and thin: only 2.5mm in diameter as opposed to our legacy cable which was around 4mm in diameter and way more stiff.
The Avee400 cable is made of a rugged and high-quality Kevlar-strengthened material with built-in strength relief on both ends.
The Avee400 cable has USB C connectors on both ends: an angled connector for the end plugged into the Avee microphone, and a straight connector for the end plugged into the Avee 41x adapter.
The Avee400 cable comes in two lengths: 45cm (typically used between the BlueLink and the Avee microphone), and 125cm.
The Avee adapter
The Avee adapter is the physical interface between the Avee Interface cable with the straight USB connector, and the connectors found in your aircraft.

FRI was first happy with the new cable, looking far stronger than the original one, which was thin and fragile, broken after 3 years. Not that long for a private pilot use. But after 3 or 4 utilisations of the new cable, a crack appeared on the short cable which link the 2 jacks. This cable is always bent when in use by design, but I would expected a better quality of the plastic cover. I had to repair it with glue and tape, less than one month after reception.
Good day Michel, you are right, these cables from 2022/23 have a membrane that dries out over time, and that's what we've seen recently. Unfortunately we cannot replace your cable as we no longer have any cables for this generation of Avee. All these cables were replaced in March 2024 with a new series of Avee. CALove the Avee mic combined with my Bose QC45’s. Been working fantastic for the last several years (since 2022)… got the mic for the QC35’s with the 165cm dual plug, then upgraded to the QC45’s and had to change the mic, but kept the cable… as an Airline Training Captain, I switch seats and needed the longer cable. The cable for some reason started to crack in several places… electrical tape did not look all that nice. So I decided to obtain a new cable (From July 2019-2023) thinking it was the right one… but it’s only 125cm (too short). I don’t understand why the cable is so fragile… but overall, the mic is solid and has been working very well. I’m happy with the product in general as well as the awesome customer service from Avee… just wish the cable was more robust!
ESI had need to buy an spare for a former product and Martine guided me during whole process as well were so kind to help me to change a wrong item that I hard selected.

IEMy overall experience with your company has been positive. However, I would like to draw your attention to an important matter regarding one of the flight schools operating in Poland. Based on my personal experience, Noble Wings Academy misrepresented a product to me — they sold me a Bose QC45 headset while claiming it was a Bose A20, and did not provide an invoice for the purchase. This kind of practice is misleading and risks damaging your brand’s reputation if they continue to use your name in such a way. On a positive note, I recently purchased a GA cable from you to replace my broken headset cable, and I am satisfied with that purchase.

USExcellent, highly recommend Avee products. Although one suggestion, any chance that the cable for the Avee(prior to July2019) could be made compatible with the Ultimate? I find that the extra girth and fewer connections of the original cable work well with the 737 cockpit. Thank you
FRI needed a replacement cable, ordered the wrong one. The sales department saw with my previous order that this one wouldn’t be a good fit for my headset. They send me the good one. Thanks again for the amazing customer service.

CAI use the product for work. I like it so far.Better design than other brand of mic that I have tried before. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because my cable broke inside. I had to order and pay for another one. they ship me two cables so I guess they do care about customer satisfaction.

AEHi, I would like to tell that all cables are really made with excellent quality , maybe it would be better if cables were slightly softer , but in general it totally got what I looked for! Strongly recommend all Avee equipment for pilots needs !

FRWorks very well on the A300 as well as on the PA28. Sound cancelling is very effective, mic sounds clear. The lone downside regarding the assembly concerns the durability of the product. I have the feeling that the product could be fragile for GA usage particularly in the frequency of pluging/unpluging and about the more "messy" environment of a GA cockpit. One has to take a particular care of the product in this context. This being said, im very satisfied.
USSo far it seems to be working fine, though it is very very thin. I worry about it breaking or getting damaged by something in the cockpit. Assuming that doesn't happen, I do love how light it is. Another downside, it was expensive to ship. I needed the quick delivery because I use the headset for work, and I was sad that Avee didn't offer to pay for the replacement since I've only had the headset about 2 years. The old one shorted out completely after only 500-600 hours of use.
CAI had problem with the cord. Its too thin. And apparently the design changed so looks like I will have problem to find a new one if you stop the production. I think you should design it in a way we can use any cord. the mic is good
We do understand you are not satisfied with the thin cable but you got a good aftersale service, we shipped replacement cables without any charge even if the warranty on the cable was not anymore available and still you think a one star review is deserved. IndiaExcellent build quality. I use it every day. Only one weakness is the cable being too thin. I'm not sure if it will last too long of daily use. A braided reinforced cable would be much better. Other than that it's a great product.
CYI have the Avee kit for the Bose QC45. I encountered some noice during usage which made the kit unusable. The customer support advice me to buy a new cable as they had similar issue previously. That didn't solve the problem, so i've sent the kit for repair. They replaced it in no time without additional cost as it was still under warranty. Very happy with the product. I bought also the newer version of the microphone which is stiffer and staying in place without adjust it every few minutes. Again great products and outstanding support!
